Drawing up a bubble bath is one of my favorite ways to unwind after a long day and what better way to pamper your loved ones than with these DIY Bath Bomb Gift Bags (seriously, who doesn’t love a spa treatment in the comfort of your own home)?! I’m partnering with ME! Bath to show you how to make these color block patterned DIY gift bags that are perfect for parties, weddings, holidays, or pretty much any occasion. They carry a total of 9 unique scents that are perfect for mixing and matching in each bag. A few of my favorites include Birthday Cake, Milk N’ Honey, and Ice Cream but you can check out all they have to offer at your local Target, Walgreens, CVS, or Amazon stores.
If you want to learn how to make these colorful treats, keep reading for a quick tutorial and free printable!
All of the items that I used for this DIY project can be purchased at your local craft store like Michaels or Joanns. Here’s what you need:
– Glassine Bags
– Acrylic Paint (I used Artists Loft in the colors Portrait Pink, Light Blue, Deep Yellow, and Ivory Black)
– Paint Brushes
– Mini Clothes Pins
– Washi Tape
For the pattern, I stuck with a color block theme for the entire set! I started off by using a ruler to measure out about 2.5-3 inches from the bottom of the bag and used washi tape to ensure a straight line. From there, I painted over the entire area with two coats of acrylic paint and allowed them to dry for about 30 minutes. Once the paint was set, I began free handing a series of dots, brush strokes, and lines to fill up the top half of the bag. Repeat these steps for each pattern and once all the bags are fully dry, you’re ready to fill them up with some delicious bath bombs! ME! Bath products come in the perfect size that are great for a single use so I was able to fit a weeks worth of these babies into each giftbag!
To top everything off, I illustrated these cute gift tags with the pun “You Da Bomb” that you can easily print out and attach! Download them here!
