I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! It’s been a few days since my last post but I wanted to sign off social media for a bit to simply enjoy quality time with loved ones. This year, we just prepared a delicious meal at home but I still wanted to get dressed up for the occasion! I also was excited to try out my Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette (which I bought from the Sephora VIB sale recently) and wanted to create a look around it. For full details on the products that I used, scroll down to the bottom of this post!

First, I used the Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer to get rid of any dry patches on my face. Then, using a stippling brush, I applied Make-up Forever Ultra HD foundation (120=Y245). To conceal my eyes, I gently applied Naked Skin Urban Decay concealer with my ring finger (Med-Light Neutral). To lock everything in, I set my face with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Moving on to my eyes! I tend to get really oily lids so applying Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer potion is a must! I applied “Gold” all over my lids, “Venetian Red” in the crease, “Realgar” to blend out the crease area, and “Cypress Umber” in the outer area of my lids to add more definition. I then applied “Vermeer” on my brow bone for highlight and the same “Venetian Red” on my lower lids.

I then applied my favorite liquid eyeliner of all time by Kat Von D (I swear by this stuff), Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes to lengthen and thicken my lashes, Stila All Day Liquid Liner (shade Amore) on my lips so nothing budges while I’m eating all that Thanksgiving food, and Anastasia brow gel for a more natural look.

Lastly, I applied the finishing touches to my face by lightly packing blush onto my cheeks and highlighter to the top of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, and cupids bow.

Voila – I hope you enjoyed this holiday look! What are your go-to make-up products during the Holidays? Let me know in the comments below!
